Bathroom Cleaning Tips

When is the last time you cleaned your bathroom? Below you’ll find a list of tips we’ve compiled to help give your bathroom the deep-cleaning it’s been longing for!

How’s that shower head doing, looking a bit sub par? Here’s a deep cleaning trick the experts use: pour an ample amount of white vinegar into a plastic bag (enough to completely submerge the shower-head nozzle), and tie it around your shower-head for a couple of hours.

Now that the shower’s taken care of, you can’t forget about your tub! Apply a bathtub cleaner and let it sit for 15-20 minutes before scrubbing.

Tile, counters, etc

How’s the floor looking in your bathroom, pretty nasty? Spray the tile floors and counter-tops with an all-purpose cleaner and turn on the shower, cranking the water very hot. Let steam build in the bathroom then turn off the shower and close the door to the bathroom for about 15 minutes. After the steam has gone to work, wipe down the floor and counter-tops allowing for a squeaky clean bathroom.

Start by pouring a cup of baking soda into the toilet bowl. Let it sit for a couple minutes; then brush and flush it. Still seeing some dirt after this? Try it again!

Pour white vinegar or baking soda down the drain and flush it out with hot water. To clean the faucet, disposable disinfecting wipes such as Clorox wipes are great for removing bacteria.

Hand Towels

Use the sanitizing setting if your washing machine has one (or be sure to use bleach to get rid of any bacteria.) Make sure to replace with clean towels every 3-4 days.
